Platinum And 18k Yellow Gold Custom Two-tone Wedding Band
Item #103589 $3,334Men's Wedding Band Description
Two-tone Band
The main portion of this ring is made form 14k rose gold, and its warm tones lend a classical feel to the piece. This is gently contrasted by the platinum inlay that runs down the middle of the top surface of the band, covering more than half of the area. This produces a silvery center bordered on either side by the rose gold rails, and the juxtaposition of the two different metals helps enhance the beauty of each. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
Contrasting Finishes and Customization Options
In order to create an even greater visual separation between the two sections of this ring, we used a brushed finish on the platinum inlay and a high polish on the rose gold. The matte of the brushed finish contrasted nicely with the shine of the warmer metal, and this combination gave the ring a satisfying balance as a whole.
Of course, you can always choose a different finish or combination of finishes if you’re looking to customize this piece. For instance, switching the placement of the brushed and polished finishes would give the ring a decidedly different look, as would going with an all-brushed or all-polished design. A sandblasted finish is an alternative matte option you may want to consider as well, and you can even combine any of these with a hammered finish to create a more soft, irregular texture.
Another way you can modify this piece involves adjusting the width to one more comfortable for you. This ring is 4mm wide, which is on the wide side for a women’s ring but on the narrow end of the normal range for a men’s band. The right width is, of course, whatever’s most comfortable to you, and you can determine that by visiting our showroom or your local jeweler to try on some rings of varying widths.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
