Center Diamond
At the center of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s displayed beautifully in a four prong setting made from 18k white gold, and those prongs come straight up from the gallery below. From this position, they frame the diamond perfectly, and they mark the widest points of the band as it rises and widens to meet the stone.
Diamond Accents and Filigree
On each shank shoulder, a space opens up between the two sides of the band, and this space holds a V shape and a diamond that fit together to complement the hand-engraved pattern on the lower part of the shank nicely. Within each diamond shape is a round bright cut set diamond, and these two complete the three-stone look of the ring. Diamond Engagement Rings
The space on both ring fronts below the center diamond, and below the embellishments on the shank shoulders, is filled with an elegant scroll-style filigree that softens the look of the ring and provides an elegant touch as well.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
Modified wheat patterns of custom hand engraving line the top and fronts of the band running down the sides, and these patterns taper along with the ring itself to perfectly fill the space. The engraving stops just before the very bottom of the ring, where a blank space allows for easier sizing later on should it become necessary. Hand Engraving
Milgrain beading lines all of the engraved sections, and it runs along the margins of the filigree as well. It brings a satisfying, finished look to the ring, along with some vintage flair that combines with the other elements to achieve a classical and distinctive look.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
