Its a design full of classical overtones that combine to create a timeless elegance, making it a perfect example of the types of pieces that make up our Sylvie collection here at Joseph Jewelry. You can view or try on this and other pieces by the designer any time you stop by our Bellevue, WA showroom, and we are the only retailer of these designs in the Pacific Northwest.
Center Diamond and Setting
At the top of this ring, a one carat round brilliant cut diamond is cradled securely by four talon prongs made of 18k white gold. The prongs are somewhat broader than average on the side, but they narrow to points as they begin to curl around the diamond. Each edge of the prong is also lined with milgrain beading for some added vintage flair. Diamond Engagement Rings
A small groove is engraved in the top of each prong, dividing them in half. Just below the level of the diamond’s girdle, a line of round bright cut set diamonds begins on the sides of the prong, and these continue down to the base of the main setting, overlapping with each other slightly as they do so. A section holding diamond accents rises up on either side of the main setting in line with the band, echoing the shape and style of the prongs on a smaller scale. Engagement Rings Bellevue
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is one piece across the bottom, and it widens slightly moving up towards the top until splitting in two at about the mid-point on each side. Just before this split, a small groove appears in the middle of the band to foreshadow the separation, and lines of split prong set diamonds begin on each strand just as the split begins, adding a dazzling sparkle and classical flair to the piece as well.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
