We’ll learn as much as we can about your style and feature preferences, and we’ll use that information to develop a unique design for you, digital models of which we’ll post to the online workroom we set up to manage your project. You can provide feedback on these models through the workroom as well, and we’ll modify our designs until you’re sure they perfectly match your vision of the ideal piece.
Citrine Centers
The main focus of these earrings are the round citrines that sit on the front of both studs. The two combined total 1.50 carats, and they’re both bezel set in 14k yellow gold. The relationship between the orange of the stones and the warmth of the surrounding metal makes the citrines almost appear to glow, and the color combination brings with it some classical overtones as well.
Milgrain and Filigree
The bezel settings holding the citrines are lined with milgrain beading, a detail that only helps to enhance the classical themes already present in the set. On the sides of the earrings, filigree baskets protect the backs of the stones while still allowing plenty of light in. Earrings
These incorporate lines and triangles, and they’re accented by milgrain beading as well. In addition to the milgrain, larger decorative beads fill the spaces in the triangle filigree, and they line the top of the basket, adding additional detail and texture to the set.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
