London Blue Topaz Stud Earrings
Item #102662Earrings Description
London Blue Topaz
At the center of this set are two London blue topaz, each of which is round and checkerboard cut. They’re both bezel set in 14k white gold, and the two combined total 1.90 carats. The deep greenish-blue of the stones contrasts beautifully with the silvery shine of the metal they’re set in, and the checkerboard cut brings even more complexity to the mix by creating a pattern of light and dark sections scattered across the surface of the stones. Earrings
Milgrain and Filigree
Milgrain beading lines the tops of the bezel settings holding the topaz, and this detail continues down onto the filigree baskets that enclose the backs of the stones. These baskets provide protection for the topaz while also allowing plenty of light to reach them from behind, and the intricate detailing of the filigree adds to the overall vintage aesthetic of the set.
Custom Fine Jewelry
If you’re interested in modifying these to put your own personal mark on them, our experts will work closely with you throughout the process. You can get things started by visiting our Bellevue, WA showroom in person, or you can reach out to our team online. We’ll take all of the information you give us about the kind of look you’re after, and we’ll use it to develop a unique design for you in CAD.
Once these proofs are ready, you can review them through the online workroom we set up to manage your project, and you can provide feedback this way as well. We’ll adjust our models based on that feedback, and we can even grow a wax model for you to inspect in person before you give your final approval to move things into production.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
