Peridot Stud Earrings
Item #102666Earrings Description
Peridot Centers
At the heart of this set are two round peridots that together total 1.72 carats. Each of them forms the main portion of one of the earrings in this set, and they’re both bezel set in 14k yellow gold. The placement of the facets in both stones gives them a checkerboard appearance, creating alternating sections of light and dark when the pieces are viewed from various angles.
Milgrain and Filigree
Running along the top of the bezel setting of each peridot is a line of milgrain beading, which adds some vintage flair to the design while simultaneously providing a nice frame for the stone. This beading also brings out more of a complex contrast between the warmth of the yellow gold and the striking green of the peridots.
Behind each peridot, a basket composed of filigree adds to the vintage feel of the set, and the milgrain from the top of the main setting continues down along the filigree as well. There are also larger decorative beads incorporated into the basket design, introducing a subtle but significant complexity to the design. Earrings
Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this set, you may want to start by switching to a different color metal to introduce a another type of contrast to the design. You could also eliminate the milgrain to create a more modern look, or you could experiment with different shapes for the peridots. Oval cut stones, for instance, would enhance the classical themes of the design, while cushion cuts might give a more contemporary feel.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
