Founded in 1906, Jewelers of America is based in New York City, New York, and is responsible for the advancement of key tenets of professionalism and ethics in the jewelry industry. The organization developed a Code of Professional Practices still used by those in the industry today. Jewelers of America provides the network of jewelers in the United States with a code and seal by which customers can trust they are working with a trusted member of the community. Members can be found in more than 8,000 jewelry stores throughout the country today.
