Laser engraving is a process by which a high-powered laser beam is used to etch careful designs into the surface of a piece of jewelry. It can be used on precious metals, gemstones, and almost any component used in fine jewelry. Laser engraving uses a computer to program and deliver the design to the jewelry, so the process is incredibly precise. This allows for very fine engravings that may not be possible by hand.
